Aachen, 14 December 2010 - At "E-world Energy & Water" (Essen, 8 - 10.02.2011), ProCom GmbH, Aachen, will introduce new BoFiT solutions for planning and optimisation of energy production and energy trade in key European markets. The consultancy will show in hall 3, stand 3-440 how processes along the entire value chain can be optimised.

In addition to opportunities for using renewables production pooling to take advantage of the statutory "green energy trader privilege", the ProCom experts will demonstrate how an in-depth calculation of gross profit can be used to report the status and projected gross profit of individual power facilities and products at any time.

With the new model builder of BoFiT 5 the IT platform offers not only improved comfort, but more ways to clearly visualise physical facilities and economic components. Complex plants and dependencies, such as hydrological power plant parks or energy-generating industrial companies, can be modelled to give a clear overview. Moreover, optimisation tasks can be meaningfully and clearly structured using model variations and scenario calculations. By creating variations, one single model can be used to support the most varied business processes in trade and production. The basic model allows for optimisation of day-ahead power plant planning. Variations derived from it can be used for investment calculations or contract evaluations.
