Start of the new ProCom Training Programme |
03.05.2012 |
The new training programme of ProCom GmbH has started successfully. During the first training block on the 16th and 19th of April in Cologne BoFiT-users had the opportunity to expand their energy-related knowledge as well as enhance their skills all around the BoFiT IT-platform. Accompanied by lively discussions and professional exchange about diverse energy-related topics, the programme took place in a concentrated atmosphere, beyond the daily business.
For interested BoFiT-users the new ProCom Training Programme offered – depending on their knowledge – a choice consisting of a BoFiT basic training, a theoretical course explaining the initial work with the IT platform and two different expert trainings, in which skills were intensively elaborated using practical examples.
"The basic training transmits an introduction to the first work with BoFiT 5. Hereby, the participants systematically get to know the IT platform and gain an overview of its functions and architecture“, explains Robert Kruppa, course leader and Senior Consultant at ProCom GmbH. Carmen Meier, Stadtwerke Trier Versorgungs-GmbH reports: "The many practical examples illustrated in the work documents are well-done. My training folder is clearly arranged and structured. That will most certainly help me to apply the theoretical knowledge I have learned in the praxis.“ "The exchange with other BoFiT-users was very valuable for me, too“, she adds.
While the participants of the basic training gained a clear overview of the BoFiT IT-platform, in the adjoining room the first clicks were made already. Here, an intensive hands-on-training took place, in which a smaller group of participants learned the modelling and optimisation with BoFiT using practical examples.
The expert training on balancing energy markets concluded the training block. In a theoretical part participants won an overview of the functions and business processes of balancing energy markets as well as bidding strategies. After having enjoyed a small refreshment, the computers were left to the participants. Thus, they learned step by step, the modelling of balancing energy markets with BoFiT, following a realistic example.
"We are pleased about the many positive feedback, that show, that ProCom-Trainings enhance the skills of our customers, help them to a reliable work with BoFiT and enforce them by challenging their daily tasks“, so Andreas Nolden, Managing Director at ProCom GmbH.
The next trainings take place along with the ProCom Users’ Meeting. Read more here or in our programme booklet.
